Quality Guarantee

Our goal is to ensure that your images look their absolute best so that your custom photo goods always exceed your expectations. For this reason, trained technicians adjust your images for optimal printing. In the event that you are unsatisfied with any part of your order, we will work to quickly make it right. Please see our remake and refund policy below.

Remakes and Refunds

If you are unsatisfied with any part of your order, we will remake the items at no additional cost to you. Image quality remakes are not available for proof prints or for orders that opted out of standard image adjustments.

In the event of a refund, either partial or complete, we reserve the right to require that the original order contents be returned to us within 30 days of shipping before issuing the refund. A shipping label will be provided and return shipping will be at no cost to you. 

Customer Accounts

Customer accounts are required so that we can contact you if we have a question about your order and so that we can review your order history as needed. Your images and payment information are not stored in your account, however your browser may utilize cookies to store certain information for future use, as allowed by your browser settings.

Additionally, creating an account will save your cart – so you can start an order on one device and pick it up on another. It will also save your contact information so that you don’t have to enter it every time you order. Additionally, you’ll be able to log into your account and see your detailed order history. 

Handling of Images

Unless otherwise requested, all order images will be adjusted for color and density by trained technicians. This prepares the files for optimal production and eliminates any need for you to color correct prior to submission. Comprehensive facial retouching is available and can be selected in the shopping cart.

In the case of proof prints, images are automatically adjusted using intelligent software. Proof prints are best suited for printing a large number of images and can assist in making your final file selections for ordering additional items. Refer to our image adjustment protocol above for all other products.

Before submitting your order, you have the option to opt out of any adjustments to your images. If you opt out of image adjustments we will print all files in your order as received.

Every screen displays images differently. For this reason, the finished product may not look exactly like the image does on your screen.

Our production systems are set to work with SRGB .jpg image files. Certain printing profiles for soft proofing are available to you by request.  

Retouching Services

Facial Retouching service is available for single subject images for $12 and multi-subject images for $18. When you order Facial Retouching our artists will review the image for all of the following: blemishes, lines and/or circles under eyes, facial shine, teeth whitening and glasses glare. 

Image Storage and Retention

Upload Arts is not obligated to retain images after an order has processed. Images are utilized for the purposes of fulfilling your order and are stored for 30 days to accommodate necessary remakes.

Image Content and Copyright

You agree that you have permission to submit any and all images to Upload Arts for reproduction on our products. We reserve the right to cancel orders based on illegal or illicit content.

Production Schedule and In-lab Production Times

Our site is always open! Orders received between 7:00pm EST on Sunday and 7:00pm EST on Thursday are eligible for in-lab production times to begin that same day. In-lab production times are indicated online when ordering, and your order will carry the in-lab production time of the product or service with the longest production time. In-lab production times do not include shipping/transit times.

We ship completed orders on business days only, Monday-Friday.

Holidays and Closings

We will periodically close in observation of certain holidays and/or for maintenance purposes. Notifications of these closings and any effects on production and delivery times will be indicated in advance. We are closed in observance of Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Cancelations and Order Changes

If you need to cancel your order after it has been placed, please contact Customer Service as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee order changes and do not issue refunds for orders already in production. 

Shipping Methods, Costs, and Transit Times

The Standard shipping method will utilize either USPS First Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground service depending on the weight of the package and its destination. Expedited Overnight shipping is a guaranteed UPS service with a shipping cost calculation based on the total cost of the order. Standard shipping transit times vary by location and shipping method with most orders requiring no more than 5 days to reach their destination. Your order confirmation email will estimate delivery time.

Certain bulky items must ship separately, will be split into separate orders, and will incur separate shipping charges. The online shopping cart will indicate this where applicable.  

Order tracking information is provided in an email once your order ships.

We reserve the right to ship orders ahead of our normal in-lab production time.

Order Payment

Payments are taken as a last step before an order is placed. The transaction on your statement will be listed as “Upload Arts”. We accept Visa, Discover, AMEX, and MasterCard via a standardized, secure online payment gateway.

Customer Service

Customer Service is available via email and live chat during regular business hours – 9:30 am to 5:30 pm EST, Monday through Friday. You will automatically receive an order confirmation email with important information about your order. You will also receive an email when your order ships, complete with tracking number.

Communications

Automated order confirmation and shipping emails will be sent to the email address on your account. We are not responsible for addresses entered in error, and have no other way of contacting you.

Sales Tax

A 5.3% sales tax is collected for goods and services destined for addresses in Virginia. This tax is not collected for shipping costs.
